Sony Xperia Z3 has just arrived on the marketplace. But before it creates some buzz, the company is all set to come up with a more powerful more impressive smartphone to make an impact on its consumers. According to reports, the release of Sony Xperia Z4 isn’t far. A lot of rumours and expectations are also doing rounds. Here’s what people are talking about and expecting:
The Release Date
Well, nothing has been confirmed on this front. Hence, one can simply guess as to when the actual launch will be. Since Sony announced the Xperia Z2 on February 2014 at MWC, the Xperia Z4 may release at MWC 2015.
The new phone by Sony will come equipped with a 4K video that will work really well. Sony’s been shouting it out the 4K video capabilities of its phones since the release of Xperia Z2. Unfortunately, none of its release was capable of recording for more over 5 minutes. This time, the claim may really turn true!
Camera has always been a problem with Sony phones. The users could only wish for fixing up the problem with 4K recording feature. Faster camera and autofocus is what people expect this time. The process of launching camera and autofocus was extremely slow in the Xperia Z3. So if it gets faster by even milliseconds, the performance will be better and more desirable. A better camera is definitely one of the expectations with the new launch.
All of the Sony Xperia phones including Z, Z1 and Z2 had 1080p displays. Well it is definitely the best smartphone had (in the past). However, the launch of Z3 with 1080p screen was a huge disappointment. With Xperia Z4, people are expecting the QHD.
Of course, the Sony Xperia Z3 looks great. The only problem is with the bezels placed right above and below the screen. These are a huge turn off and unsightly. So smaller bezels is what the users expect this time around.
The Xperia Z3 had a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor combined with 3GB of RAM. This is no less power. However, in some ways, it is. The power failed to turn into performance. Switching between apps was such a pain in neck. More power is definitely expected.
The Xperia Z3 was buggy owing to the tendency of keyboard to bounce or get unresponsive. Also the notifications bar would get trapped half way down. People expect fewer bugs this time.
Of course, smaller bezels were a concern. So is the overall design. The latest launch by Sony must incorporate a cooler, brand new design. Refining its OmniBalance design was a fabulous shot by Sony. However, a lot more can be done with the design. Hence, there is no point in keeping it the same and boring. All all, design sells better.
