Computex 2012 is becoming the center for original and different devices, like the Toshiba Satellite U845W, which does not deal with touch screens or multiple screens, but opts for a screen with panoramic proportions (21:9), at 14.4 inches.

In the picture below you can see the new innovations that Toshiba Satellite U845W brings in the booming world of ultrabooks. Obviously those proportions bring a panel with a different resolution of 1792 x 768 pixels.

Toshiba thinks there is room for a device like the Satellite U845W, there are many customers who demand widescreen media, and their U845W ultrabook is perfect for viewing. The other specifications are what we expect from an ultrabook of this new generation, with a third-generation Intel Core processor, better known as Ivy Bridge, SSD-based storage, backlit keyboard, and a battery life of up to 7.5 hours of use.

Toshiba Satellite U845W will be released with Windows 7, which will be available soon (July 14, 2012), but upgraded to Windows 8 when Microsoft releases the new operating system. Its starting price is $1000 for its base model, and up to $1,500 with better configurations.
